In 1908, our founder Melitta Bentz invented pour-over brewing and coffee filters. Melitta has been a pioneer in the coffee industry for over 100 years, offering a wide range of coffee filters and brewers. Our paper filters are 100% biodegradable and are available for cone, flat bottom basket, percolators, and Keurig single serve coffee brewers. The filters are made using chlorine-free white, natural brown, and bamboo paper.

In addition to filters, we also provide a diverse selection of coffees and brewers such as pour-overs, carafes, pour-over kits, coffee makers, kettles, drip coffeemakers, and our own premium batch-roasted coffee. Our coffee beans are sourced from farms in prime coffee-producing regions, and we roast and grind them extra fine in true European fashion to bring out the full flavor of the coffee. Our range includes ground coffees, whole bean coffees, and single serve coffee pods.

We offer a porcelain cone drip brewer with a six-cup capacity porcelain carafe and five filters. Coffee aficionados agree that pour-over brewing produces the best coffee, allowing you to brew coffee at the perfect temperature and regulate the flow of water with optimal turbulence of coffee grounds for ideal extraction. The pour-over brewing method was invented by Melitta Bentz in 1908, and it uses Melitta cone-shaped filters (Number 4 Size).
